The Born medal and prize is awarded in even-dated years to a physicist based in Germany
and in odd-dated years to a physicist based in the UK or Ireland.

The Holweck medal and prize is awarded in odd-dated years to a physicist based in France
and in even-dated years to a physicist based in the UK or Ireland.

The Massey medal is awarded biennially in even-dated years; the recipient will usually have,
or have had, an association with Australia or physics in Australia.

The Occhialini medal and prize is awarded in even-dated years to a physicist based in Italy
and in odd-dated years to a physicist based in the UK or Ireland.
